Bushehr nuclear plant near completion

Tue, 24 Jul 2007 14:47:43

An official with Bushehr nuclear power plant has said construction of the facility is complete by 93.6 percent.

Mahmoud Jaafari added the plant would become operational during the second half of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).

He stated that the 1,000MW power plant would supply near 1/40 of the country's demand for electricity in the near future.

The official noted that 700 Iranians , who have been trained in Russia for three years, are currently working with Russian experts to install the facilities at the plant.

2. Why would you say that?
Iran has just as much a right to nuclear power as anybody else. And with oil being such a limited resource, that means they can export the oil that would have been used for power generation to other nations and giving Iran the needed funds to help it's people.

3. I say it because that means the bush** admin and Israel will
ramp up the attack plans.

I believe that Iran has a right to nuclear power. I never said that. You're pretty good at reading things into a very short sentence that were never there.

4. He didn't say that you said that
And I'm not saying that you're saying that he said that.

And ... what is this about, again?

Oh, yeah. Nukes.

5. "Congress has just outlawed I-ran. We begin bombing in 5 minutes"
If ChimpCo wants to take this plant out, they will have to do it before it begins operation...

Just where is that Eisenhower Strike Group anyway????
