Anyone fancy a wager on the breakdown of the ice sheet before melting stops?
Specifically the disintigration of that spur of ice north of the Tamyr Peninsula?

5. Ya know, something kept bugging me the more I looked at this map....
I was thinking about the recent thread where someone here postulated that maybe the ice is melting because of the soot output from China and the steering air currents.

I look at the map of this ice, then look at a map of China, and the two are just eerily similar in shape.

I also heard that the aliens can read your thoughts off the road like they were recorded on magnetic tape. zomg someone call Art Bell!

7. I'll take that action - the Tamyr Spur breaks through (i.e. 50% or less laterally) by 9/15
I don't think that's too wild a guess . . .

Does a six-pack of Rogue Dead Guy Ale sound like a suitable stake?

9. How will you guys pay each other if all the barley and hops doesn't make it?
I suggest you put the beer aside. If you win the bet, you will be in possession of what may be a very valuable and rare commodity.
