University Of Bremen AMSR Update 2 September - Ice-Free Line Pushing 85N Across E. Basin
Substantial areas are now across the 85N line, even at 86 or 87 - phenomenal loss of extent. I've been looking for confirmatory updates at NSIDC without luck, but we'll probably hit another historic low for the Basin as of this weekend.

6. Well I have it on good authority that there are WMDs hidden at 97.3N
And north, east, south and west of there, somewhat.

Maybe when it goes that far we can finally bring the troops home? :(
