Nine new plaintiffs and one new defendant were added to the Rule 106 lawsuit by Tallahassee area residents who are trying to stop uranium exploration in the area.

Black Range Minerals, LLC, was added as a defendant in the amended legal complaint filed with District Court on Tuesday. Plaintiffs Robert and Kelly Roth, Matthew and Lorraine Herzing, Virgil and Peggy Burke, Nancy and Richard Seger and Pamela Strecker were added to the original list of plaintiffs, Tallahassee Area Community, Inc., and Kay and Jim Hawklee.

“The commissioners have taken it upon themselves to gamble with our lives and property,” said Jim Hawklee, president of TAC, which formally organized to protest the exploration.

The original complaint, filed last month, appeals the county’s June 9 decision to allow Black Range Minerals, an Australian mining company, to prospect for uranium on an 8,169-acre parcel of leased and private property on the Taylor and Boyer Ranches. The company hopes to eventually tap into a world-class uranium deposit in the area ...

2. Yep: Ft Worth doesn't have the nuclear submarine public transportation system you advocate
though I'm sure everyone appreciates all the time that you've volunteered to help dig the necessary canals

so the exciting chemistry of extracting a few ppm U from Florida phosphate deposits seems unlikely to be relevant

Perhaps, however, you could stop hyperventilating long enough to explain exactly why you believe anti-mining activists are responsible for America's over-dependence on foreign-oil-dependent autos
