1. How'd you manage to miss out on all the rain we've had down here in LA
the past couple-three days???

That must be that third front that's gonna drop our temps way down tomorrow.......

7. Well, we are making an effort to hang onto it long enough to help
recharge aquifers under the city lately.........and there are some reservoirs scattered around the area......

What we really need to do is ban front lawns in SoCal altogether, but even that won't help a lot because most of the water use in the southern half of the state is agricultural, and we like to eat around these parts.

9. Reservoirs
The Reservoirs in SoCal do store most of the run off water we get but since we have about 70% of the state's population we still need to use water on state owned land. While the extra half inch of rain helps it isn't a game changer.
