has definitely matured and become a very aware and dedicated environmentalist . . . he's also taking his craft more seriously, and is doing some great work . . . some of this may have been instigated by something that happened to him when he was still a very young actor some years back . . . he had a chance to meet Katherine Hepburn, who was discussing cinema and realized that DeCaprio had absolutely no grounding in film history . . . "Young man," she said, "I suggest that you learn this history of your craft" (paraphrased) . . . guess he took it to heart . . .
