4. In fact, we HAVE been here before and constructed - with no help from fundies -
the world's largesst, by far, form of climate change gas free energy, running at 90% of capacity utilization.

How's that http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/3/1/135940/9081/615/703151">$700,000 rape of the arts to power one yuppie faring?

http://www.eia.doe.gov/cneaf/alternate/page/renew_energy_consump/table1.html">Not all that well it looks like.

We HAVEN'T seen since it's 1954 invention, even one exajoule from the dumb asses who keep selling the "solar will save us" snake oil, mostly because solar electricity doesn't work on any meaningful scale.

For more than half a decade we've had assholes sitting around bitching about nuclear energy in isolation from its alternatives.

Solar isn't an alternative to nuclear 1) because it doesn't work on scale 2) because it's not reliable and 3) because it's basically the fantasy of rich people whose ideas of "jobs" consist of minimum wage stuff with low productivity.

5. Hydro is the world's largest form of climate change gas free energy
You keep repeating wrong information,
I've pointed this out many times before,
you are intentionally trying to mislead people:

2. the only forge in the world that can make containment vessels
has a 4 year back log of orders. none of the us plants can be privately insured so the taxpayers will insure them. todays estimated cost of a reactor to be built in the usa is 18 billion. most of the bits and pieces in the plants will come from overseas. we can no longer have the machines to make the components in the usa.

3. With the way USA has been doing "bizzness" lately
.
.
.

I will be expecting other countries nuclear facilities to be up and running LONG before the USA

USA's contractors are so full of graft/payoffs/political promises and deficient plants/contaminations . . etc ., etc.,

nothing will happen in the next 5 years in the USA IMO

That's my opinion

And where is the USA gonna get the money to do it anyways? - Borrow it back from China??

USA sold its ass offshore - big-time

And the USA and it's allies have been blowing up anything that even LOOKS like a nuclear plant lately haven't they?

And discussing blowing up still MORE countries efforts to build reactors?

NO?

I think I heard this somewhere . . . .

6. I used to live about a mile away from the....
.... Hutchinson Island nuke plant in Florida. What a stupid place to build it.

Vulnerable to hurricanes, tsunamis, and sea level rise.

I have to wonder what plans FPL has to quickly and safely decommission this plant, that is only about 6ft above sea level....

Tumbleweed rolls past....

7. My bet is they have no plan
Jeebus is coming and when he does and takes all the 'good people' with him to the gold streets of heaven there won't be any reason to decommission the plant. Thats why they aren't concerned with the radioactive for a long time waste. I don't believe in jeebus any more than I believe that bowel movement I just flushed has life.

They have no plan and that you can bet on
