Ag-Oil to Use Jatropha and Algae in New State-of-the-Art Biodiesel Refinery
A nice article explains the advantages of using Jatropha as a fuel stock. It is also another example that second generation biofuels will be jumping into the market very soon.

Here it is:

Plans for a state-of-the-art biodiesel refinery are underway in Florida. Ag-Oil is building a pilot-scale non-food oilseed biodiesel production facility that will convert Jatropha seeds, algae and other byproducts into biodiesel fuel.

Ag-Oil is collaborating with the University of Florida, Southern Illinois University, Argonne National Laboratory and the United Environment and Energy on the project.

Jatropha (Jatropha curcas) is a seed-producing shrub or tree containing nonedible oil. The oil from the seed is a viable alternative to petroleum otherwise used in the production of diesel fuel.

2. Just a little over
$60.00 a barrel. It's gone done over $10 a barrel since last thursday, and looks like it might end up down in the mid $50's by the end of the month. Of course the "speculators" may try and push it up so they can dump some of the stuff they bought and stored and are now running out of places to store it, but pushing it up to around $71 last week was pure greed by those same speculators, and hope they lost "millions" when it takes a steep dive "DOWN"!
