The nexus between energy and health care

It is positively Kafkaesque isn't it? This chart attempts to show the actors involved in opposing health care reform. Note that much of the opposition is funded by fossil fuel interests.

These companies have cultivated a network of think tanks and PR companies specializing in generating disinformation for more than 30 years. Considering the next big battle on the Obama agenda is climate change/energy, it is a no brainer for the GHG polluters to help insurers crush any Democratic momentum to achieve ANYTHING, as such a loss will seriously undermine the upcoming effort to address climate change through a meaningful long term energy policy.
