1. Live Science is a great site!

I've had it bookmarked for a while, but hadn't checked it lately.

So many wonderful things are in development that could eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels!

Figures. That answers some of the questions I had about the ranking of those energy sources... just now noticing that they didn't even mention thermal depolymerization.

Have you seen GE's new commercial touting "ecomagination" and that stupid dancing elephant? Wonder why it's an elephant dancing through the jungle? I'll bet the PR people had a good chuckle over that little subliminal joke!
