Audi Plans to Goes Electric...Beyond Cars
Audi AG (ETR:NSU) is going electric, but not like most car manufacturers.

Aside from plans to roll-out its E-tron concept car in 2012 (a product that will appeal to luxury-inclined buyers in the market for an electric car), the German automaker is planning a more involved role in the renewable electricity sector.

2. Storage of photovoltaic
One of the so-called problems (identified by the naysayers) with photovoltaic is that yoy can't store it up for a cloudy day.

I have a friend who is a theoretical physicist (in a league with Andy Grove and Simon Sze and Ben Streetman) who is in the photovoltaic cell business. He has photovoltaic cells around his (luxurious) home. These calls are adjacent to little "bubbling" streams and generate electricity to pump water uphill. This water then runs down hill to his swimming pool, generating electricity. Not efficient --- but attractive, and stores electricity for use after the sun goes down.
