New Study: Biofuel Production Will Boost African Economy, While Not Competing with Food
Africa is constantly looking for ways to develop its economies and increase the standard of life for its inhabitants. According to a report by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), growing biofuel feedstocks could be a powerful tool for the continent's economic development.

The report states that production of biofuel crops such as sorghum, jatropha, and sugar cane could be significantly increased without hindering the production of food. Senegal, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Mali, and Kenya were identified as countries with copious amounts of available farm land.
