U.S. House Energy Chairman Fred Upton Denies Anthropogenic Global Warming [Video]
In a recent interview, Representative Fred Upton (Republican-Michigan) said that he does not believe humans are causing global climate change.

Upton has recently taken over as the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and has vowed to challenge the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ability to regulate greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act. In his new role Upton has stated he will fight against the passing of any climate legislation.

Currently holding the most influential energy position in the House, Upton's energy views starkly contrast that of the Obama administration. In December, Reuters reported, "Upton has called for opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas drilling, scaling back government aid for renewable energy and voiced opposition to requiring electric utilities to use alternative energy for some of their power generation."
