Some good news.
The BBC is reporting that the rate the Amazon rain forest is being destroyed has been halfed in the last year. That still means the rain forest is being destroyed but at least it is being destroyed at half the rate of before.

5. Reminds me of an old environmental addage
We must move beyond "slowing the rate at which things get worse", and get to the point of "increasing the rate at which things get better."

But I take what I can get these days.
