1. John Kerry's 96% rating on environmental issues . . .
is one of the main reasons I'm supporting him . . . though it's gotten somewhat lost in public debate, the environment is still one of the most important issues facing mankind, and the one closest to my heart . . . Bush has been a disaster, and I tremble at the thought of what he could "accomplish" in four more years . . . Kerry will reverse Bush policies faster and more completely than any of the candidates, imo . . .

2. I hope the environment will be a big issue this campaign.
Everything bushco has done in relation to environmental issues is simply awful. Most folks don't want dirtier air and water and we should be able to use his record against him pretty successfully.

3. Don't just hope it, Do it!
Environmental groups such as the Sierra Club plan an aggressive campaign for 2004. You can get involved in letter writing, public education, rallies, whatever you can dream up.

4. I'm working to have more Wilderness...
established in my state. I'm part of a local volunteer group and working with one of the big national organizations. On top of that I'm volunteering for my candidate in the primary.

I was thinking more in terms of our nominee using the environment as an issue in the general election.
