Another reminder why Kucinich is so damn good!
"I stand in support of a major renewables effort and of spurring research and investment in alternative energy sources. As an environmentalist, my view is always holistic and global. It is time this country put an end to the demonization of hemp, paving the way for renewed commercial hemp cultivation in the United States and breaking down the unnecessary barriers that keep American farmers from enjoying the benefits of this thriving, sustainable industry."

1. Ya, that's nice but why did he stab Howard Dean in the back in the Iowa
primary by throwing his support behind Edwards instead of Dean who was the anti war candidate? I can never forget or forgive him for that.

3. Hemp would be so
wonderful. It is a good, strong crop. Not difficult at all from what I gather. It has so many uses and Kucinich is right(as always) to push for this.

Too slow of progress towards legal industrial hemp, for sure.

6. Good for you.
It really would go a long way to stabilizing farm land that has been fallow for one reason or another or overgrazed. I hear it works like green fertilizer. I know little about it but I did know that he was for allowing it's use. It has so many pluses.

5.  I agree even though hemp has a bad rep here.
He's frequently ahead of the curve.
