Earth Day Google Graphic.

Cute I think.

I'm surprised anyone remembers the existence of this minor holiday.

Speaking of minor days of rememberance, I miss the old Arbor Day, when trees were celebrated.

Is there an SUV day? A Nascar Day? A McMansion Day?

4. Always stuff going on in Tucson for Earth Day

People with home made sun oven offering fresh cookies always draws a crowd of young, impressionable future environmentalists ;)

Anybody in Tucson know if Sun Tran busses still offers free rides for Earth Day? That was great to get people who might not ordinarily ride the bus see how clean they are and how nice it is to ride instead of fight traffic!

also has an Earthday graphic: the Dogpile dog -- a caricature drawn by somebody who obviously loves, admires and pays close attention to dogs -- planting a tree. Cute, appropriate -- and I don't have the faintest idea how to post it: have never been able to figure out how to post images, and every attempt at it I've ever made has failed.
