Poll question: Where do you get your environmental news?
Seems like there are a lot of news sources out there, but which one do you go to for environmental news?

4. Similar to asking where I get my news..
.. because I'm drawn to enviro as a matter of interest and politics in general. Trying to answer, these come to mind:

Action: NRDC, LCV, Sierra, Earth Action.
Political leaning: AAR (ring of fire, ecotalk), liberal blogosphere.
Information: National geographic mag, SC, Audobon, field guides :), tv (i.e. Nature), university (online pubs)
Mag news weeklies and monthlies, and all of msm for that matter pick up articles.

If forced to choose one source, i'll go NG mag. While I'm thinking about it, best article ever: Gone with the Water.

5. Another vote for Hatrack!
I google my way to lots of stuff, and also I scan technical journals relating to energy very often. I spend a lot of time in libraries.

6. I'm pretty parochial
Most of my attention is given to the newletters and action alerts from AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) Conservation Action Network (CAN).

But Hatrack is a close second source :)

Other than those two I just pay particular attention to Environment/Energy pieces in my general news sources.

10. I think the question of whether you are the greatest poster is one of
those rare things about which most E&E forum members would have to agree.

Thanks for your hard work in keeping us informed.

14. I have to jump on the Hatrack bandwagon here.
Like NNadir, I'm more energy focused. Hatrack brings a real variety of environmental stories, and I always look forward to his posts, whether I end up feeling ill after reading them or not.

Thanks Hatrack!

17. EnergyBulletin.net and this forum...
I find energybulletin to be a great one-stop-shop for environmental and energy news.

Everything else you can get by visiting the E&E forum right here. In fact, between here and the Peak Oil Group it's the only stuff I look at on DU anymore!

18. I can barely stomach environmental news, it being universally horrific.
I don't know how anyone can immerse themselves in it when it's so clear that we are so screwed.
