Converting Gasoline Generators to Propane
I loved this line:

We guarantee that this procedure will void your generator's warranty!

http://www.otherpower.com/otherpower_propane_convert.html

I found this while looking for a recipe on how to
make gasoline from crude. You know, like distilling your own
beverage?

pretty interesting info on wind power to link to there, as well as other alternative energies.

My dad is in line to have his generator converted. His neighbor had his done, and gave him the name of the guy. Appears there is a waiting list. He'll be converting to natural gas, since that's what he's using now for heat, city supplied etc.

2. With natural gas prices going through the roof...
I'd think the real alternative energy types would want make methanol in a solar powered still in the back 40.

Or maybe get a diesel generator and press out sunflower seed or soybean oil to run it.

3. Make producer gas. Sort of like cooking wood or whatnot, and using the
fumes like propane. Worked in ww2 in phillipines. Can burn wood, coconut, dried bean husks, anything with lignens and mostly dry....
then pipe the gas into the engine like propane.

Or go to diesel engine and burn vege oils like sunflower, or corn, et cetera..
