Man Looking For A Cure For Cancer, Discovers How To Burn Saltwater Instead
Water into fuel?

Reported by Michael O'Mara

Updated: 5/23/2007 3:56:23 PM

Retired TV station owner and broadcast engineer, John Kanzius, wasn't looking for an answer to the energy crisis. He was looking for a cure for cancer.

Four years ago, inspiration struck in the middle of the night. Kanzius decided to try using radio waves to kill the cancer cells. His wife Marianne heard the noise and found her husband inventing a radio frequency generator with her pie pans. "I got up immediately, and thought he had lost it."

Here are the basics of John's idea: Radio-waves will heat certain metals. Tiny bits of certain metal are injected into a cancer patient. Those nano-particals are attracted to the abnormalities of the cancer cells and ignore the healthy cells. The patient is then exposed to radio waves and only the bad cells heat up and die.

But John also came across yet another extrordinary breakthrough. His machine could actually make saltwater burn. John Kanzius discovered that his radio frequency generator could release the oxygen and hydrogen from saltwater and create an incredibly intense flame. "Just like that. If that was in a car cylinder you could see the amount of fire that would be in the cylinder."

The APV Company Laboratory in Akron has checked out John's amazing invention. They were amazed. "That could be a steam engine, a steam turbine. That could be a car engine if you wanted it to be." Imagine the possibilities. Saltwater as the ultimate clean fuel. A happy byproduct of one man searching for the cure for cancer.

1. If only we could run our cars on bullshit,
we seem to have an inexhaustible supply.

2. Posted twice already.
These energy-from-water "discoveries" are just a rehash of something that's been known for nearly two centuries: namely, that if you consume enough electrical energy, you can make H2 from H2O -- and if you burn the H2, re-forming H2O, you recover less energy than was consumed by passage of the electric current:

Hydrogen from water: it's the new Snake Oil. And it shows up too much on DU.

Four years of university engineering study has honed my BS detector. Though I'm a Sparky, back then they made us take thermo, heat transfer, fluids and more than one semester of chem. Because they wanted us to be "well rounded" engineers.

Heck, we cracked water and then burned it in H.S. Now, I will briefly entertain any scheme, but I'm not going to waste my time.

Now if we could just stop Bush from spouting all this hydrogen economy bullshit.

Hydrogen is not an energy source.

8. What about the radio waves?
Does that really work against the cancer cells?

10. cancer killers-radio waves
If you will google ("Royal Raymond Rife" cancer cure) you will find a lot more data than you probably will believe or understand. Keep in mind there are people who have been trying their best to debunk Rife. Their theories and lies are better than good. Also keep in mind no one has been able to duplicate Rife's work. Do NOT purchase any so called cancer machines! None of them work! If you need more data on cancer please contact me. I can't contact you because this site has rules for newbies.
always,
Barb

3. How many times does this have to be debunked?
Alas, the state of science education in the US is pathetic. To think people believe you can get something for nothing. It takes more energy to power the RF waves that separate the hydrogen than the energy you get back by burning it. It's a net energy loser. Something has to generate the power that powers the RF generator, and that something has to draw energy from somewhere. There is no perpetual motion.

The only reason oil and coal SEEM like a SOURCE of energy is that they hold millions of years of stored solar energy. STORED, not created. This method of splitting out the hydrogen from water is NOT an energy source, and cannot ever be an energy source. To believe otherwise to in the same category as believing the earth is flat; the result of scientific illiteracy. Sadly, there will be some who waste their money investing in this fools dream.

11. energy conversions
You missed the point if you believe water to H2 & O is supposed to be a higher return for energy invested. Because we pull up to the pump and put fuel into our vehicles we think that's a good energy source?

Negatory Red Leader, the answer lies in conversion of one source of matter-energy into another source of energy we can store and consume as our needs dictate or at our own leisure.

Converting sunlight, wind, water energy into H2 & O is as implied a loss leader. More energy is consumed than returned.

NOT THE POINT! The purpose is to convert mass-energy into a "can" of storable energy. Energy is lost in conversion. Who the heck cares? So far there is more wind, sun, whatevers where that came from.

In the near future hydrogen will be piped where natural gas is now consumed. It can be replaced indefinitely unlike natural gas which is being depleted at an alarming rate.

Impossible to "burn salt water". I have experimented with salt water in chemistry. You can run some electricity through it and produce hydgrogen and oxygen. If you break up the salt, you can get sodium and chlorine gas.

Yep NaCl is the formula right?

It's funny how two dangerous chemicals come togethor to form something that preserves food and makes it taste good. If only were it not for our Renin-Aldosterone System..... ;)

amd had access to all the chemicals.

One of my favorite things to do was steal sodium and throw it into mud puddles. Potassium was even better. Energetic reactions.

And various salts burn in different colors. Fun to throw into campfires.
