Bush breaks 2000 election promise re readiness level of combat units
(No link because I am cheap and they want money) The Wall Street Journal 's Greg Jaffe commented today on the Army's decision "to allow combat units returning from duty to temporarily fall to readiness levels at which they won't be prepared for combat,"

Any person writing a speech for Dean or the others may want to discuss the Wall Street Journal insights into our "stretched" military and its "depleted resources," -

Indeed the WSJ said the move, "which hasn't been publicly announced, could have political implications for President Bush."
