Bring them home now
A new group, made up of veterans, active military, and their families, have created a group called "Bring Them Home Now". They set up in reaction to Bush's brilliant "Bring 'em on" comment, which this group views as being stupid and dangerous.

1. but we can't
because then Iraq swings to a total theocracy(whereas under SADAAM is was the opposite). if the Bushies aren't carefull, iraq is gonna be Iran in the 80's. let's just hope tWit doesn't toatlly fuck up the slowly developing Iran democratic revolution. but that will not happen. the chimperor will fuck that up too.

2. This was one of the reasons we opposed the war
the unintended consequences of toppling Saddam, one of which was a virulent anti-Western Islamic fundamentalist government. The fundies feed on American military actions. Our imperialist excesses are the best recruiting tools the extremists have.

Bush has succeeded in uniting the disparate factions in Iraq on a common goal: driving the US out!

I was among those DUers that warned that a post-Saddam Iraq would pose a bigger threat to US and Israel's interests in the region than Saddam himself.

We reap what we have sown.

3. Not just disparate factions
Iraq has become the boot camp for global terrorism. Every wannabe Jihadi with the means and the death wish is in or heading to Iraq for "training". No more running over ladders and jumping through flaming hoops...this is a live-fire training exercise to these Jihadis. That they get to kill a few American GIs is a bonus to them.

The blowback on this adventure has just started. I wonder what "graduates" of this Iraqi boot camp will be up to in the near future?
