Why isn't there more media uproar over this. The conservative outlets are blaring this scandal from the rooftops and rightfully so. The U.N. is complicit in a program which kept Saddam in power, gave him more financial resources and informants/supporters on the Security Council. Saddam bribed French and Russian officials. It is blatantly obvious that these countries didn't oppose the war for moral or philosophical reasons but because they were recieving large oil contracts from the former dictator. No war for oil? It seems that this cry is true but not in the conventional way: The French and Russians didn't want war to KEEP their oil! Sad to admit but it looks like Bush was right to ignore the U.N. they have lost all credibility with me. And now documents are disappearing:
