I would love to get my hands on footage from Oct 1993

Right after the "liberal media" showed footage of the three US soldiers' bodies being dragged through the street during Somalia.

I would love to have the footage from all the conservative rightwingers back then. You know, those who now tout (post-9/11, of course) about how it's the Liberals and Democrats who have "lost the nerve" for any loss of life in a military action.

Yeah, I remember, you could not turn on any of the "liberal news channels" (there was not FOX news at that point) without having the same footage plastered all over.

And, of course, few Repukes in the House and Senate were supporting Clinton on the action. Most were saying "Well, Clinton changed the mission and now our guys are taking the flak for it" or "We need to withdraw our troops! We cannot stand to lose any more US soldiers' lives over this issue."

I would love to see what Annthrax Coulter had said at that time about the "mussing of the soldiers' hair" at that point. Remember, she had said that the casualties in Iraq were the equivalent of getting the soldier's hair all discombobulated . . .
