Can anyone help me?
I am looking for information about our countries policy on Dual Citizenship. My father was born in Bermuda and so I have the right to citizenship there. I am in the first stages of looking into it with my father and I was wondering if someone could direct us to information on the US side of things.

1. You may have a slight problem
Bermuda is a territory of the UK. That means if I am correct you would not be a Bermudian citizen but a British one. I don't know if Britain allows dual citizenship (probably do) Now the US doesn't care about dual citizenship unless you are becoming a naturalized citizen. So if your are already a US citizen then you don't have to bother with us. Your best bet would be to contact the British Embassy in DC or depending on where you are a British Consulate and they can give you the 411.

2. Thank you
From what I have read, you can be a citizen of Bermuda with out being one of the UK, but you have the right to be a UK citizen. I did not think about contacting the Embassy. I had been told one time that has a US citizen you could not hold dual citizenship, but that must have been wrong.

3. Like I said
the only time they really care is if you are getting naturalized. There is no laws against it. Though I do think that when it comes to criminal matters the US wont recognize your dual citzenship. As far as they are concerned if you have US citizenship and commit a crime then you are theirs no matter what other one you may have.
