Europeans recall bad memories: Bush visit
ANGELA DOLAND
Associated Press

<snip> "Europe doesn't share the primary objective of the United States, which is to be the leader of the world," said Christine Desanges, a 67-year-old retiree in Paris. "Europe's objective is world peace."

At a demonstration in Brussels, red balloons floated up into snowy skies bearing the message "Shame on you, Bush." The crowd shouted "Bush go home." <snip>

"Well, he can charm Mr. Blair all he wants, but it will be more difficult to charm Europe," said Davda. <snip>

4. Bush is just "making nice" now so maybe someone will back him when he goes
after Iran. He is trying to dupe them like he did America to get into Iraq. Of course, Europe has been screwed over by a lying country before, they have also had many more years of history to repeat than we have. I hope they have learned from all of that history and they don't take him at face value and see what he is really after.
