1. I tend to believe
that O'Rielly supports gun control the same way one of my wacko conservative friends does. He has a bumper sticker that says:

I practice Gun Control!
I use both hands!

4. Some "liberal" views of O'Really
Found this:

He supports gun control, is in favor of campaign finance reform and a patient's bill of rights, and is against the death penalty.

7. I was surprised at his questioning of an Episcopal priest last night...
O'Reilley was asking the gentleman if his attitude towards Bishop Robinson would change if it were proven conclusively that homosexuality is genetic, and he really kept on the guy about it...
Hmmmm...
My 16-year old had a great comment about it (NO offense to anyone intended, please don't misunderstand...she was speaking partly seriously/partly tongue in cheek....)

'The church has had remarkable staying power, despite the "stain" of women and queers.'

This came after we had talked about similar types of discussions when women were first allowed to be ordained...

14. All Lies...he is not against these things..

For those of you that aren't on to him let me clue you in.

He is not anti-death penalty. He called for the excecution of Westerfield, and Muhammed(sniper suspect) on his show.

He takes "pet" liberal issues and than never covers them.

It's his way of claiming to be Fair and Balanced. He figures if he says these things no one will ever pay attention to what he actually does.

And judging by the response of many on this board it is working, because he has never done a show on the enviornment or gun control......EVER.

He has however done about a BILLION shows on the evils of Clinton, Jackson, liberals, secularits, the UN, etc....blah, blah...

He is Republican who lies his ass off to appear balanced.

I've studied this slime for a long time. Trust me, he does not believe in these issues.

15. Who actually listens to him anymore
O'reily is a blowhard. I quit watching years ago when he stopped being a moderator and became the judge that would not let the defence (of any of his pet issues) talk. When they tried he would talk over them or go to commercial and not let them finish.

5. Yeah, and David Duke favors gun rights
as does every other racist that can be found.

By the way, I'm sure you can produce realms of pro-gun control ranting from the Faux Noise blowhard. Can't you?

You know, crap like this: "George Clooney's mocking of Charlton Heston's fatal disease has largely been ignored by the press, which may be the result of Heston's status as the president of the National Rifle Association (NRA), an organization many in the media loathe. As first reported by syndicated columnist Liz Smith, Clooney opined at a National Board of Review event that "Charlton Heston announced again today that he is suffering from Alzheimer's." "

with out a link to support this statement by O'Really, followed by the flamebait remark in the message - I'm going to have to lock this thread.
