I hate to embarrass the Brady Campaign with this, but...
Here's the deal. The Brady Campaign responds to an NRA bulletin about an Executive Summary from the Binational Task Force on the United States-Mexico border calling for a new ban on semi-automatics:

But while they're chuckling at the NRA, they're also providing links to the document in question - none of which appear to work.

Try the links out for yourself if you like. I can't use any of them to download in either English or Spanish.

3. Meanwhile: Teen arrested after shot strikes Port Arthur child
PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur police say a 17-year-old has been arrested after a shot fired through an apartment wall injured a 3-year-old girl.

After discovering that the child had been shot Sunday night, police knocked on the door of an adjacent apartment to see if there were any victims there. There was no answer, so they forced their way in, finding the teen in a closet.

Authorities said they found a high-powered rifle investigators believe was used in the shooting, as well as a sawed off shotgun.

The teen is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.

I seriously doubt they left an expensive NFA weapon lying around. Unregistered possession of a short-barreled shotgun (SBS) is 10 years, I think?

I saw her on the Comedy Central Roast of Larry the Cable Guy.


First, she looks about 20 years younger than she actually is.


Second, she kicked some serious ass. I didn't think she had it in her, but damn, she unleast insults with the best of them!
