HOUSTON�It happened at the El Mante� tire shop located in the 11,000 block of Bauman, near Rittenhouse in north Houston.

The shop owner, his son and a customer were changing a tire at the shop when police said four men attempted to rob the place at gunpoint.

A shootout occurred after the owner turned the tables and opened fire on the suspects. One of the suspects was shot and killed and three others fled the scene.

Police are still investigating.

Weren't we assured by one of the regular anti-gun posters that the good guy always lose if the bad guys have their gun(s) already out? What happened here?

There aren't any other news stories about this right now. And this story only has four sentences. Is blowing away robbers becomeing so commonplace in Texas that it is becoming routine?

The business owner said he was getting ready to close when three men with guns pulled up to his gate. He said a Hispanic man walked up to him grabbed him by the neck.

"He demanded money if not he was going to kill me," he said.

He said in that split second he thought about his family. A licensed gun owner, he waited for the perfect moment to fight back.

He realized he had fatally shot the man who he said was about to kill him for his money. He continued to shoot when a person in a different vehicle opened fire on him.

"(I shot) at the other guy two or three times and at their truck and that's the truck he tried to run me over with," he said.

5. Again..Another AWESOME shot..!!

What kills me though is when the family of the deceased CRIMINAL tries to sue either the homeowner or the shop keeper... There are many out there who side with the criminal's family... We're in some serious trouble folks.....
