According to Flagstaff police reports, William Martinez, 25, 3257 Leupp Drive, called police to get the two people removed from his home late in the evening Wednesday. Police arrived, and Martinez let them in. He was jittery and would not stop talking when asked to stop talking. Officers suspected him of being under the influence of a stimulant drug.
One officer inside the home allegedly saw a black baggie in plain sight. The officer stated in his report that Martinez said it was methamphetamine. Later tests proved the statement to be true. Officers also stated Martinez told them he was high on meth, and he even showed the officers where various items of paraphernalia were.
The two people he wanted thrown out of his home later told police that Martinez assaulted them with a baseball bat. Martinez was booked into the Coconino County Jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs for sale and aggravated assault.
