Sponsor of gun bill won't pull trigger yet
A proposed new law that could have banned the sale or purchase of many muzzleloading rifles and the possession of many shotguns is being pulled from the state Legislature calendar and will not be introduced, said its sponsor.

3. What an idiot
From the article....

"The way I understand it, there were certain kinds of large-caliber guns that are not used for hunting, and one bullet from them can blast a lot of people or a lot of things," the legislator said."

She doesn't even understand the issue! The last thing we need is an idiot like this writing laws.

16. We Think We've Found The House
It's less than five miles from my office. Which is a lot better than the 43 miles I'm now driving each day to work.

18. I cut my commute from an hour to 15 minutes too
I used to drive to downtown Chicago every freakin' day!

If I didn't have books on tape, I would have gone nuts. But for the last few years I have a 15 minute drive through countryside, very peaceful and serene.

I miss catching up with all the latest books, but not the hassle of an expressway crowded with whacko's.

Good luck with the house hunting (and the inevitable and endless redecorating and landscaping that is sure to follow.)
