1. Roland gets shot, dumped from Fox, and dropped from his insurance.
Then we cut to a two-week arc about JJ's latest performance art shenanigans. :-)

2. Yup, I get all my public policy and constitutional law input from comics
Doesn't everyone?

I hope to hell our legislators have the ability to look deeper into issues than that.

7. "His work is always spot-on" Like the series on Starbucks?

I must have missed those media accounts of shootouts over the soymilk and extra-long straws. Waitaminnit-

This must mean the NRA suppressed the news about all those shootings at Starbucks by open carriers.

Yeah. That's the ticket!

5. Just a guess
But I think some one will be shot. Authoritarian extremists in one party will call for feel good gun legislation that will do nothing in terms of actually reducing crime. Then extremists in the opposition party are going start buying weapons in front of a possible ban and the sitting President will fuel their fears by deciding now is the time to discuss "common sense restrictions" on the second amendment.

All of which will lead to the NRA going batshit, stumping their little asses off, getting out the vote and ensuring that "the party of gun bans" doesn't hold a congressional majority for at least twenty years.

And all because some extremists decided to dick around w/ a Constitutionally protected civil liberty

Bet I'm pretty close

24. Well, there's satire...
...and there's heavy-handed absurdity, which doesn't take as much finesse.

This is the latter. Of course, Trudeau frequently takes the lazy way out.
