W.Va. congressman's son sentenced on drug charge
BECKLEY (AP) - Rep. Nick Rahall's son was sentenced on Thursday to 14 months in a federal prison for distributing cocaine.

U.S. District Judge David Faber also ordered Nick Joe Rahall III to serve three years' supervised release and to pay a $2,000 fine, said David Jensen, Faber's law clerk.

Rahall, 26, of Beckley was charged in October in a federal information with selling drugs to a confidential informant on Aug. 19, 2003. He pleaded guilty to the charge in December.

He was free on a $5,000 bond on a fugitive charge in Virginia at the time of the drug sale.
