New gun laws to affect gun owners in Indiana
-----

Under current Indiana law, employees can be told whether or not they can keep guns in their cars at their place of business.

That's going to change. Starting July 1, Hoosiers will be able to store guns in their private vehicles at their job without fear of penalty from their employers.

It will also be unnecessary for gun owners to have a permit on hand while transferring an unloaded handgun in their private vehicle.

Another law will give gun owners uniform treatment for all Indiana counties.

3. lol, I didn't even realize I needed a permit to move my unloaded handgun...
...glad the law is being changed, though soon it wont matter for me as I'll be getting my concealed carry permit in the not too distant future.

5. Florida has allowed employees to have firearms in their vehicles since 2008 ...
with the stipulation that the employee has a concealed carry permit.

No major problems so far (as usual).
