Man shot in San Fernando after offering robber coins
http://www.dailynews.com/ci_18182227?source=most_viewed

SAN FERNANDO - A man walked up to another man in San Fernando, demanded money and shot the victim when he offered the suspect coins early today, Los Angeles police said.
The robbery in the 1300 block of Maclay Street, near Foothill Boulevard, happened shortly after midnight, Sgt. Kirk Kahoe of the Mission Station said.

The victim was shot once in the wrist and taken to a hospital, Kahoe said. He was expected to recover.

The suspect fled and there was no description early today.

How often do we read the antis tell us that if we will give up what we have the thug won't hurt us? This guy probably had nothing but pocket change, gave it up, and still got shot. Do the antis now want us to make sure we carry around enough to make a mugger happy? How much is that?

2. He should have been carrying a gun.
After all, the thief may not have enough guns.

5. Yeah, if the victim had had a gun, the robber could have stolen that ...
and shot him with his own gun.

8. So its better that the robber shoots him with the robber's gun?
I don't see that as an improvement. With his own gun he would have had a chance.

9. Or he could have just shot the robber.
And removed one more criminal from society.
