A bit of whining from a Virginia Gun Control advocate...
Edited on Sun Jul-10-11 09:40 AM by virginia mountainman
Virginia Gun Control advocates, are feeling a bit down..

Lawmakers approved a bill that bars local jurisdictions from prohibiting people from shooting BB guns and other air-pressure guns on private property - as long as the shooting is done safely. The issue received attention in Fairfax County, where the board voted last week to align county code with state code.

Andrew Goddard, president of the Virginia Center for Public Safety, said it was the only major bill opposed by the gun-control group that was voted into law. Six other bills the center supported went nowhere.

“We’ve never had a win,” said Mr. Goddard, acknowledging Virginia’s reputation for being a gun-friendly state. “It’s kind of a little bit ridiculous when you think about it. We’d just like to see some sensible things like background checks.”

emphasis mine..

Nice touch, they now appear to want back ground checks on BB guns.. After all it is "sensible"...

But "never had a win"?? I must disagree, they have won, they have won MANY MANY converts to OUR side, with all the senseless BS they blather on about when they are on the gun control friendly media. It is "advocates" like him, and the over the top antics of the national gun control figures, and their attorneys, that have made us as strong as we are now.

Thank You, and Keep up the good work!

2. Andrew Goddard.... is this the same Goddard whose attempt at professional victimhood....
netted he and his son four whole editorials on Huff'n'Puff before they were soundly rebutted back to the irrelevency from which they came?

Meh, I say, meh.

8. That much, I think, they have learned
A couple decades of EPIC FAIL can teach even the most daft a lesson or two.

Beyond being less forthcoming with their true intentions, the anti-gunners have learned squat.

Irrelevancy is a tough thing to accept.
