1. Much fail in this story.

If what she is saying is the whole truth and nothing but the truth then the two of them were dumb beyond belief. If she's not telling the whole truth, well, then that makes this a totally different kind of thing. Either way it is a real shame. Mr. Clarke is dead in part because of his own irresponsibility. Between the two of them they pretty much mangled Coopers Rules.

RULE I: ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

RULE II: NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY

RULE III: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

RULE IV: BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET

5. It is a shame,but
you don't have to know anything about handguns to buy and own one.

7. The State of Colorado sees it differently than you.
Should I have left it at home the day the crack head tried to mug me?

14. I don't know

You can get a lot of crack for a gun, so I'm going to assume none.

Fortunately, Colorado law doesn't require that I meet a threat w/ equal force. If I am in a position where a reasonable person would assume that they are in dnager of losing life or suffering greivous bodily harm I am justified in using deadly force.

ETA just curious You have no way of knowing if said crack head was armed or was HIV positive or was moonbat crazy. Would you have still tried to duke it out w/ him?

I had just finished my daily run so I was worn out should I have tried to out run him?

what would you have done

8. It depends on how many times she shot him and was he shot
in the back of the head? Article does not say that, but they only have her charged with involuntary manslaughter right now.
