Mayor Daley of Chicago supports CCW...
...kinda, a little bit, in a round a bout way.

"The "Full Faith and Credit Clause" of the Constitution requires all states to recognize the public acts -- such as marriage -- of all other states. Florida does so all the time, of course. A heterosexual couple married in Ohio, for instance, doesn't need to get remarried here if they move to Florida."

If he wants to recognize gay marriages performed in other states (which I support too) then he should also recognize my CCW issued in Michigan.

It just plain made no sense at all.

(Yeah, yeah, I got it too ... the way I used to get why one particularly whacked out friend of mine said the things he did in the middles of conversations ... he'd say something, it would sit there, I'd peer at it, turn my head sideways, look at it from underneath, and yup, see how it might have sprung from some contorted reading of what was being talked about ... anybody else remember MDA?)

19. Also seriously,
I have been talking to my Delegate about why my CHL is recognized in MI, but an MI CHL is not recognized in WV. At least one can open carry here if desired.

I am for a uniform recognition of CCW -- that is, outlawed everywhere.

On edit: It must be rough for you now that there's only 4 states and DC that don't allow concealed carry at all.

Sad to see some people here siding with government officials who feel it's perfectly fine to arrest en masse peaceful protestors, while simultaneously vigorously advocating citizen disarmament.

An epidemic of stupidity. The primary symptom is brain-dead legislators (mostly Republican) passing idiotic concealed-carry laws.
