911 Recording of Fatal Shooting Released
{excerpt}

DH: Just a minute. He's coming in to my front yard.
Oh God. He's coming through the window. I'm gonna shoot him again!

911: No. Uh, ma'am. Don't.

DH: There he is right there. I'm gonna shoot him. (Noise)

911: Ma'am. listen, listen. The officers are in the area. I don't want you to fire your gun.

DH: He's coming through the window. (Bleep) you, (bleep)!

911: (Typing)

Too bad she didn't have years of training to become a mixed martial arts expert. She could have just choked him out.

1. How long before the usual suspects
are here to defend the dead criminal saying burglary doesn't warrant a death sentence?

Here we have an elderly woman who has fired twice and missed a man trying to break in her home. Does the miscreant thank his lucky stars she missed and hightail it off into the night?

No, he circles around the house and tries to force his way in still!

After being hit with a round that eventually proves fatal, the son-of-a-bitch still tries to come in the window and the terrified victim fires twice more.

Tell me again, "There are no bad men."

The cops arrived just in time to take the reports.

The dispatcher keeps advising the woman not to shoot. Pretty easy to do when you are downtown and some scumbag isn't crawling through your window right damn there in front of you, after he knows you have a gun.

You know, sometimes a criminal just needs killing. Jesse Theis is just one more in a long history of predators who have proven it.

4. The 911 worker would not have been held liable, had his advice led to her death.

5. Some criminals are just slow learners.
After the first two shots miss, he tries to enter via a different window.

6. Please note
That was the first time she ever fired that gun. If you own a gun practice with it. Although she "just got it" and that might have meant the previous day.

Also note the possible reasons for the recent purchase. They could be coincidence, rumor of trouble, or somebody with an axe to grind.

Also note you don't have to be a ninja Green Beret to defend yourself with a gun. She got him shot and had the judgement to tell the dispatcher "fuck you" when the cops couldn't get there.

7. She should have just waited to see if he just wanted some property, then beat him up.
What a rude toter.

She should have just waited for him to come inside and asked him politely which of her property he would like to make off with. And if it turned out that he had more on his mind than just property, why 66-year-old Donna should have just karate-chopped our bad guy!

8. Hence, the HyperPunk...
Not dissuaded by gun fire, not dissuaded by a call to the police, not dissuaded by what he can steal...

He just must get at her.

Law enforcement is not charged with, nor can they possibly undertake, the responsibility of thwarting violent crime toward people; in this case, the 9-1-1 advice would have enabled the HyperPunk to... Get at her.

She didn't take the advice, thank god.

For those who aren't "in the know," a HyperPunk commits a crime which is designed to harm/kill victims, even if under the guise of a property crime, routine robbery, or even home invasion. In other words,

The DESIRE and GOAL is to harm/kill others, preferably with violent confrontation.
