Calif. Man Sentenced to Prison for Shooting at Neighbor뭩 Dog

A California man accused of pointing a gun at a girl neighbor and then shooting her dog was sentenced to six years in state prison, authorities said.

Officials said States, on May 25, had taunted the child뭩 female Terrier mix, 밪malls,� who then began barking at States.

The girl ran inside when States drew a handgun, then fired a round at the dog, which, afterward, also ran indoors.

Authorities said States then went inside the girl뭩 home, pointed a gun at her as she held Smalls in her lap and threatened to shoot the animal.
