Somewhere in the middle

Don't care.

Don't know.

Have you ever...

E-mailed your representatives?

yes

Mailed your representatives?

yes

Faxed your representatives?

yes

Phoned your representatives?

yes

Met face to face with your representatives?

yes

Took active part in a protest or lobbying effort?

yes

Taken the time to educate someone with opposing views?

yes

Written to newspapers?

yes (never published) :(

Called in to radio shows?

Thought about it, but never did.

On a one to ten scale; how important is the issue to you?

1) Guns? Never heard of them.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
10) My wife yes, my dog maybe, my gun, never!

On the RKBA Meter®

I'm about a 7.5-8.

3. My father-in-law has a subcription to a gun magazine...
and the commentary is just idiotic. These guys want everyone to have a gun, but no head (and hence eyes) with which to aim. They want people to be mad at 'liberals' because of some attack on the right to bear arms, yet they ignore the Patriot Act, or the fact that the President is now allowed to make war without Congress, or that even you (or me) could be detained simply for expressing our opinioins. I take this shit seriously (as you might imagine, me speaking my mind and all).

I guarantee these magazines are owned by the powers that be.

2. People kill people....
but corporations who manufacture instruments of death are evil, plain and simple. If you buy an assault rifle from a major corporation, it's like when the South during the civil war were buying their weapons from companies based in the North. And of course the North cut them off, and supplies dwindled, and they lost (which is probably a good thing given what they represented.

So yes people kill people, and people should be and have the right to prepare for taking back their government, but people should instead of being such fucking rednecks about the issue, educate themselves on current events, and focus not so much on their natural given and constitutionally enforced rights as much as they should the 'enemy'.

I mean, everybody wants to be able to shoot their gun, but they tie some blind-fold around their head when they think about the issue.

Check out http://www.democracynow.org to here some independent media, and you'll become more educated on their strategies.

I should probably know better than to ask such complicated questions on a Friday night.

11. gosh, you fellas are so cute

"My Wife yes, my dog never, my gun never"

Why do I suspect that if asked, the wives would answer:

My husband yes, his dog yes, his gun yes ... and the sooner the better.

9. Pro Gun here
Mine are yes answers to all of the above. I am very active when it comes to pro-gun issues. I am also pro-labor and an active union member.

I am sorry that some of you feel that as gun owners we are "rednecks" or somehow lowbrow. You should get out and meet more gun owners. You will find that we run the gamut with a minority being the "rednecks" you say we are. I suppose not unlike the anti-gun liberal crowd. I'm sure not all of you are tie-dyed wearing hippies marching in some environmental parade with issues you know absolutely nothing about.
