I am returning from hiatus...
Reports of my tombstone have been greatly exaggerated. (not that there were any, but I always wanted to say something like that..."reports of my death..." etc etc.)

No phone, then phone but no internet, then phone and internet but no air conditioning, then (and still)phone and internet but no air conditioning OR swamp cooler (ISH!!). And those are just the minor things that have kept me immersed and occupied (and stressed) these past couple months.

Anyhoo, thought I would check in and say Hi to everyone. :)

3. Welcome back!
Good to see ya!

Yuma in the summer with no air is anything but a picnic. Stay downwind!

5. He is a very strange and mysterious man.
I've heard it said that he was the most recent Dread Pirate Roberts. (I can believe it considering the earring, parrot, peg leg, and poor personal hygiene.)

A beevul is a sneaky malicious little creature that is particularly adept at pulling nose hairs from peaceful nappers during their siestas.

O.K. If you don't believe that, just be content to know that he's a jeans creaming lunatic asswipe that cannot wait for the opportunity to plug his fellow humans with his evil guns. (We're sorta birds of a feather.)

WB again beev! We missed you.

No one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Wesley! Or the Dread Pirate beezul.

Would you consider it a varmint? :)

8. Well.
You know about wolverines, right? A wolverine feeding frenzy is a tea party compared to a beevul nose hair pulling party.

About the Dread Pirate Roberts: I think I read that on a truckstop restroom wall somewhere in upstate New York. It was somewhere between ,Mark blows goats' and 'Free Tommy Chong" so I think it's credible.

11. Varmints
I was just wondering what caliber would be appropriate for a beevul eradication. If it's tougher than a wolverine, a basic .22LR might not be enough. Maybe a .223 or even one of those new Ruger .204's. It would be an excuse to add a new caliber: "But, honey! I need it to eradicate the beevuls!"

12. I've found that the .17 HMR works pretty well to piss 'em off
But I pull the .375 Ouch & Ouch out of the safe for particularly tough ones. One snatched my WBY 300 mag (180 grains) right out of the air with his teeth spit it back at me.

9. Where have you been?
No phone, no Internet... did you know the AWB expires in 9 days? :bounce:

Oh, I'd post "Welcome Back", but it reminds me too much of that damn "Welcome Back Kotter " theme song. ;-)

10. I've been around
I got tired of arguing with idiots. It annoyed the idiots and wasted my time.

I figured I would come back for a last "HA, ha" or two as Sept. 13th drew near.
