OK, I've only been at DU for a little over a year now so I'm sure I've missed some highlights. Please help me fill in the gaps because there has to be some good stuff I've missed.

1. Mr. Benchley registers “What a pant load” as a trademark.
2. iverglas wears out three keyboards responding to one post.
3. During the Great AWB Expiration Wars of the early 21st Century, FatSlob throws his computer out the window after seeing “You don’t need a machine gun to hunt deer,” posted for the one-millionth time.
4. McFeeb’s Law instituted
5. Guneonites fail to measure up to iverglas’s standards of linguistic precision and accuracy. (Well, this pretty much happens on a daily basis, but it’s still entertaining.)
6. lunabush (aka Wickerman) institutes mandatory lawn dart registration. RKBLDer’s worst fears are soon realized as universal lawn dart confiscation quickly follows.
7. Slackmaster post pictures of crazed hippies shooting at appliances in the desert.
8. A thread started by Wickerman of all people, ostensibly about a murderous deer hunter, quickly goes off the rails and devolves into a debate about the relative merits of the 30-30 as a deer hunting round, Diane Feinstein, boa constrictors and the correct taxonomic classification of apes, chimpanzees and humans, all in less than 100 posts.

I'll pay more attention, I promise. Funny post by the way. You almost have a top ten list here.

Yes, my boa constrictor posts were mentioned in your item #8, but I have been shooting for my own item as a main item on the list! I am outraged. But, I can live with it given #5. Herr Iverglas is merciless and intimidating in my experience with him! As a result of his mercilessness, I have had to use Google countless time, and now I am involved in sending letters off to Sen. Feinstein and the San Francisco Bay Guardian to get to the bottom of this boa constrictor tangle.

Ok, I hope that my boa constrictor follow-up thread, to be entitled "The Senator Writes Back", will make it onto your next list.

Oh and you also forgot in 8 to point out that we touched on the idea that SF's code excludes humans from the list of wild animals, thus allowing humans to be kept as pets. I'm sure this was put in there at the insistence of SF's vocal and influential BDSM community.
