CBS may have fuged in their .50 cal story

they showed a auction with the illegal Raufus rounds. Well, i google it and heres what i found:

Notice only one hit for a source for the ammo, and if you look closer at the auction (same one as in the 60 min story) its a .223 / 5.56 Raufus, not a .50 Raufus.

1. No suprise unless they have an advisor

on a story that is a member of the military or former military the MSM is pretty damm dumb when it comes to the technical aspects of the military.

Please, shooting a M82 from the armpit. This sort of stupdity makes me think the Brady Campaign was involved in this piece.

5. ACCURACY would improve their ratings in our household...

We would be a lot more likely to glue our posteriors in front of a news program if we thought we'd hear an accurate summary of the day's events, rather than some talking head's spin on subjects he/she is ignorant of. (If they screw up their facts on subjects that I'm very familiar with, why should I trust them to not screw up their facts on subjects I'm not familiar with?)

As a result, I tend to listen to NPR more than anything. They do occasionally screw up (badly) on gun issues, but at least they CARE when they get it wrong and try to get the facts straight the next time.
