Israeli border 'violations' irk Lebanon
<snip>

"Lebanon is sending an urgent complaint to the United Nations over Israeli land, sea and air space violations, a Lebanese minister has announced.

Ghazi Aridi, the Information Minister, said on Thursday that his ministry had been instructed to ask the international community to pressure Israel to stop such violations.

The complaint to the world body and Kofi Annan, the UN Secretary-General, would be the second in just over a month.

It is aimed at pressuring Israel to end such violations "in order to prevent further deterioration of the tense situation along the border" between Lebanon and Israel, Aridi said."
