1. Israel?
But they're our staunch ally in the Global War on (Non-Israeli) Terrorism, aren't they? :eyes:

3.  2 children among dead; Abbas slams 'state terror'
Edited on Tue Jun-13-06 10:18 AM by Poll_Blind
From Ha'aretz:

GAZA - Ten Palestinians, including two schoolchildren, were killed Tuesday when Israel Air Force aircraft fired two missiles in Gaza City at the vehicle of an Islamic Jihad crew heading to fire rockets at Israel.

--snip--

Among the dead were two members of the same family, a father and son. Also killed were three medical employees on their way to tend to the wounded from an earlier explosion.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz said about an hour before the strike that Israel's policy of restraint, adopted after the IDF was blamed for the deaths of seven Palestinian civilians on a Gaza beach on Friday, had come to an end.

"We employed the necessary restraint in light of the international storm, but it's over. No consideration will replace our duty to protect the citizens of Israel," Peretz said while observing an IDF drill in the north.

The U.S. gives at least 2.4 Bln to Israel this year.
