Hezbollah chief 'injured'
Jerusalem - The head of Lebanon's Hezbollah Shi'ite Muslim movement, the target of Israel's raids against the country, has been injured in an air strike, reported Israeli television on Sunday.

"Hassan Nasrallah was wounded during an air raid by Israeli forces on Beirut," reported Israeli private television, without giving details.

Hezbollah has denied the report.

Israel has carried out air strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon over the past four days, including strikes against Nasrallah's headquarters in the Shi'ite-dominated southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

2. Leader: Hezbollah Has 'Complete Strength'
Edited on Sun Jul-16-06 12:02 PM by bemildred
BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) -- Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah urged Arabs and Muslims worldwide to support his guerrillas, saying Sunday that his group is fighting Israel on their behalf and that the battle has just begun.

A confident-looking Nasrallah said in a speech aired on his Al-Manar TV that Hezbollah guerrillas were at their ''full strength'' and that the group had ''no choice'' but to hit the northern Israeli city of Haifi with rockets Sundayh after Israel struck civilians in Lebanon.

''As long as the enemy acts without limitations, it is our right to act similarly,'' he said.

Nasrallah said he taped the message at 1 p.m. Sunday, disspelling reports that he had been hurt in the massive Israeli bombing of his headquarters overnight Sunday as some Israeli reports said. The message was aired about six hours after that time.
