Nasrallah urges Arabs to leave Haifa
BEIRUT, Lebanon — Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday warned all Israeli Arabs to leave the port city of Haifa so the militant group could step up attacks without fear of shedding the blood of fellow Muslims.

Haifa, Israel's third-largest city, has been the frequent target of Hezbollah's rocket attacks.

"I have a special message to the Arabs of Haifa, to your martyrs and to your wounded. I call on you to leave this city. I hope you do this. ... Please leave so we don't shed your blood, which is our blood," Nasrallah said.

1. An Arab leader urging Arabs to flee their homes within Israel,

Where have I heard this story before?

History indeed , does repeat itself ?

Shades of 1948 .

6. And the mufti of Jerusalem welcomed Jews in his 'hood
Feh - historical revisionism of the saddest sort. Yes, there was violence on both sides, but Arab leaders contributed to the refugee situation.

14. in 1947-48
some arabs left the would be state of israel on their own, some left at the urging of the arab leaderships (to get out of the way and once the "Zionists" were destroyed they could return and even claim their jewish neighbors homes.) some also were forced out by the israeli army/irgun.

7. This is no different than Israel dropping leaflets asking the Lebanese
to leave.

8. You miss the point tho, the point is that history repeats itself ,

Exactly the same as the Arab flight from what is now Israel in 1948.

``The Arab refugees were not driven from Palestine by anyone. The vast majority left, whether of their own free will or at the orders or exhortations of their leaders, always with the same reassurance-that their departure would help in the war against Israel.``

Very easy to see now , how it happened and the very same prevailing culture...

.....well it prevails.

Just like many , many Arab leaders did in 1948.

13. But of course
no one will acknowledge that the real purpose of Hezbollah is to kill Jews, not even after they are slapped in the face with this. Arab Israelis are Israeli too, but Nasrallah doesn't seem to have any ire for them.
