Peace treaty signed forever

Before the followers of Moses took over the land south of Lebanon, the Hittites lived there.
A peace treaty was signed between the Hittite Empire and the Egyptian Empire 3264 years ago and it is "forever".

Summary
The Treaty formalized the brotherhood forever between the rulers of lands that now cover Egypt, Israel, Lebanon (Amurra), Syria, and Turkey. Here are some salient parts of The Treaty:

"...in order to establish a good peace and a good fraternity forever among them."

"If a man flees from Egypt, or two men, or three men, and if they come (to Hattusili, the Great King), the king of the country of Hatti (Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine) my brother, then Hattusili, the Great King, king of the country of Hatti (The Hittites), my brother, has to take hold of them and to order them to be taken to Reamasesa, the Great King Ramses II, the king of the country of Egypt, because Reamasesa, the Great King, king of the country of Egypt, and Hattusili are brothers. As for their crime, it should not be imputed; their tongue and their eyes are not to be pulled out; their ears and their feet are not to cut off; their houses with their wives and their children are not to be destroyed."

Signed in 1258 BC by Ramses II and Hattusili bringing peace to "The Middle East"
