I do not have a problem with Israel existing or defending itself.

I do disagree with many of their tactics and their methods in fighting back against the Palestinians over the past few years.

the presentation was very one-sided.

for instance, the balfour declaration directly contradicted promises the Briritsh had made to Shaikh Hussain of Mecca in the Hussain-McMahon correspondence.

the refugee problem was also a function of armed Israeli gangs.

the 67 war was a pre-emptive war in which Israel wiped out almost the whole Egyptian airforce before a single jet was even airborne.

and Israel is the only state in the ME with nuclear weapons.

I do not deny Arab threats to Israel's existence, nor do I deny fault of Palestinians, Arabs, and Arab states in contributing to the current intractabilitty of the conflict.

theres two sides to every story though, and your presentation made it seem that there is only one. There is plenty of blame to go around for both sides. I pray for peace in the ME for all humanities sake.

That history is a bunch of crap to tell the kids at Hebrew School because the real story is too complicated. Watching adults take it seriously is painful
